I had a great opportunity to work with BIEN on a project for Meta VRS. I was unable to find the whole piece but I was tasked with creating the opening orientation shot, introducing characters and tone for the whole thing. It was a fun challenge to piece together a camera move and some dynamic interactions to kick off the piece. I was given a style frame and with co creative direction from Hung Le, I pieced together the whole shot.

After I had established the camera move, I wanted there to be a set of playful interactions between the characters. The goal was to strike a balance between playful and conversational, while remaining human.

I roughed out the character acting and then spent some time cleaning up to get the performances feeling natural. Overall I’m happy with the result and I think the overall video benefitted from the relaxed but intentional camera and character movements.
